This shot was taken in strong daylight, and had very saturated
colours, as tropical fauna usually does. Photoshop was used
extensively to create much more pleasing tonal and contrast
relationships, and a moodier atmosphere.

This shot was taken during a 2006 post-gig 'meet and greet'
session for the Black Metal band Mayhem. The on location
lighting at the session was appaling, so most photo results were
fairly dismal (rather like Mayhem's lyrical content). This shot
was reworked in Photoshop to salvage what was a very bland shot.
Many of the highlights and shadows were manually re-worked
with dodge and burn techniques.

This is a portrait of one of my drinking buddies, taken in a pub
(of course) with out him knowing it. This was re-worked in
Photoshop to experiment with channel details and PDL techniques.

Another good friend of mine in his natural habitat, a tattoo
shop. Shane is a very talented young tattoo artist, so tried to do
him justice in this shot.

Shane again, this time in portrait form. The original shot
wasn't that pleasing as it lacked contrast, however Photoshop
saved the day.
